PROJECT OVERVIEW

On the banks of the River Erne, in the heart of Enniskillen, Ireland, a brand-new passive house campus is pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and energy efficient buildings

The newly completed Erne Campus, part of South West College, is both the largest building and the first educational building in the world to achieve Passivehouse Premium certification. It is also one of the few buildings to achieve both Passivehouse Premium and BREEAM Outstanding accreditations.

Woodlock Hall Library - Dublin City University

PPP Schools Bundle V (2015-Present)

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Collaborator within the successful ' Inspired Spaces Consortium' tender for PPP Schools Bundle V in 2015, consisting of 6no. schools across 5no. different sites throughout the Republic of Ireland.

As Lead Architects we work closely with the design team members in the execution of all projects.  Primary responsibility for the Carlow campus development.

PPP Schools Bundle II (2007-2011) & Bundle IV (2012-Present)

Development, procurement and construction monitoring of a total of 12no. Primary and Post Primary Schools across 10no. sites throughout the Republic of Ireland.

• Architectural Advisory Team Directors for both the PPP Schools Bundle II & Bundle IV, providing support and guidance to the Project Management & NDFA teams throughout the procurement.
• Co-ordination of the pre-qualification & tender criteria
• Detailed assessment of compliance of tender submissions
• Development of the specimen designs and obtaining statutory consents (Bundle IV)
• Compilation & co-ordination of the Works Requirements & associated schedules
• Review of RDD's (Reviewable Design Data) against Contract Proposal documentation - A significant and ongoing task requiring in-depth knowledge of the contract documents in order to support and assist the Project Management & NFDA teams.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The development, procurement and construction monitoring of 2no. new education 'Coutyards' in the new DIT Campus as Grangegorman, Dublin.  This is a sensitive, historic site with a considerable number of listed buildings and associated curtilages.

Architectural Advisory Team Director (Compliance) for the development of the Grangegorman DIT Education Campus involving:

• Assessment of pre-qualification & tender criteria.
• Responsible for input and review of the Works Requirements & associated schedules.
• Liaising closely with Conservation Officers to ensure full compliance with best conservation practice.
• Monitoring of compliance review.
• Integral to the process of establishing statutory approvals & compliance parameters.
• Oversight for the integration of the Facilities Management (FM) and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) inputs into the Works Requirements.
