The internal of the existing structure has now been cleared out and washed down inside. The existing beams which are bearing on stone corbels have been stripped back to expose the timber, we plan to retain this original feature. The floorboards in the room above had badly deteriorated due to extended exposure to the elements and have been removed.

The Mullarkey Pedersen team are proud to be hosting the official opening of our new Derry office, Rød Dør Studio.  

The office will be opened by Mr. Joe Mahon, presenter and producer of UTV's popular show Lesser Spotted Ulster, this Thursday 19th May @ 6.30pm.

Enabling works are well underway at Bruce Street, Belfast... Strip out of the existing dated fabric and services equipment across all levels, making way for new office accommodation in the heart of the city.

St. Columb's House - the latest completed project to add to the list

Scaffold has just been taken down to reveal the external refurbishment works at St. Columb's House, St. Columb's Cathedral, Derry. The Grade B listed building dates from 1765, and forms an integral element of the historic Cathedral Quarter, set within the south most section of the Walled City.

New cabinetry to display King James Bibles (c. 1500's) at The Chapter House is nearing completion

The cabinetry designed to hold 3 of King James' Version books, which are phenomenally over 400 years old, as part of the restoration of the Chapter House in Derry City, is nearing completion.

The books are the English translation of the Christian Bible for the Church of England and the collection displayed includes the King James' Bible (c. 1611), the Old Testament Bible (c. 1588) and the Elizabethan Bible (c. 1583).

Works have begun on the refurbishment and extension of an old Irish workhouse in Co. Tipperary. Once completed, the 19th century protected structure and 2 classroom extension, will provide accommodation for up to 120 additional pupils at the existing school campus  in Borrisokane.
