Completion reached for Ashbourne Education Campus, Co. Meath

The new education campus situated in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, consists of three new schools on a single site. These include:

  • Ashbourne Educate Together National School which is a 16 classroom school with GP Hall,
  • Ashbourne Gaelscoil - also a 16 classroom school with GP Hall, and;
  • Coláiste de Lacy - a post primary school with special needs unit and GP Hall which accommodates 450 pupils.

Yet another school nears completion! This primary school in Midleton, Co. Cork is part of the DoES Rapid Schools Delivery Programme, on which Mullarkey Pedersen Architects act as Architectural Technical Advisor, and is due to be handed over to Gaelscoil Mhainistir na Corann in the coming weeks.

NDFA PPP Schools Bundle IV Complete

NDFA PPP Schools Bundle IV Complete

Mullarkey Pedersen Architects acted as Architectural Technical Advisor to the NDFA for the Department of Education and Skills on the PPP Schools Bundle IV Project.  The bundle consisted of 4 no. schools (listed below) which would provide accommodation for a total of 3000 pupils:

  • St. Mary's Dundalk, Co. Louth 
  • Comeragh College, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary
  • St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Tulla, Co. Clare
  • Skibbereen Community College, Co.Cork

Mullarkey Pedersen's appointment included the design of all 4 no. schools and attainment of all required statutory consents and permissions. BAM PPP were awarded the contract to construct the buildings in 2014. All schools have recently reached completion.

St John’s Church of Ireland, dates back to 1731 and remains one of the earliest and most important elements within the rural town of Castlederg.  The restoration works are now well under way.

Donations collected for local charity the Foyle Hospice

Our Office Manager, Margaret, and Administrator, Catherine, presenting Noel McMonagle of the Foyle Hospice with the donations collected, amounting to £600, on the opening night of our Rød Dør Studio. 

We were delighted to have been able to generate a contribution to such a worthwhile cause as the Foyle Hospice and thank all those who made a donation for their generosity.
